THE LONE HORSEMAN
Rebecca, a corporate raider, unafraid of anything or
anyone, travels to her secluded "family" cabin to meet
up with other siblings. But, unlike past years,
she is about to break the prime rule of the family --
no outsiders.
But once at the cabin, Rebecca is not the only one who
has broken the prime rule. One of her brothers
has brought with him his significant other. As
the family talks amongst themselves, each of the
family members, reveals their own thoughts and ideas
about a strange subject --how will humanity end?
By their conversations, it becomes evident that this
is not just an academic discussion.
Slowly as each sibling talks about their lives and
loves, present and past, their real reasons for
meeting starts to emerge. The are not just an
eccentric "normal" family, but actual they are the
Four Horsemen, of biblical lore, and they are tasked,
as they have always been, with determining if mankind
is worth saving. They meet again after being
apart for one hundred years. Reuniting again to
do their duty to pass judgment over humanity.
But, with the breaking of the prime rule --
involvement with mortals -- a new wrinkle has been put
in the way of their real reasons for meeting.
Their methodical approach, honed over many lifetimes
and centuries, is to be tested by the outsiders in the
group. For the "OUTSIDERS" it is just a fun game
to play -- the end of the world, but for The Horseman
it is deadly serious. The Horsemen's decisions
on this fateful weekend may just spell doom for
humanity. For Rebecca it is a race against time
to prevent her siblings from doing the unthinkable.
