ThothScribe Films is an independent production company located in San Francisco.  We are dedicated to creating quality movies on a low budget.

Presently, we are in pre-production for "The Last Insurrection" a screenplay by Carlos M. Mora.  Principal photography is scheduled for the spring of 2009, with an estimated budget of $100,000.

Our Anticipated Schedule:

Development                                            March 2008- May 2008

Pre-Production (securing Funds)               May 2008 – January 2009 

Production                                               February 2009 – March 2009

Post-Production                                       March 2009 – July 2009

Delivery of the above schedule requires meticulous diligence and care with filming to commence in June 2008 Post-production (editing subtitles and music) will be completed for submissions to the major film festivals in the fall of 2008.

Marketing:

Overseas sales of low-budget American films are booming. That combined with Internet sales makes independent filmmaking very attractive for the investor.  Once the film is completed it will be submitted to film festivals along with submittal to the American Film Market, which is held in Santa Monica, CA every year.  At this market, all of the major distributors will be represented.  We look forward in submitting Last Insurrection at AFM next year.
